El Turco: A Mediterranean Gem in Miami

Cuisine: Turkish/Mediterranean

El Turco is a place that instantly makes you feel welcome. The outdoor seating, the beautifully curated decor, and the laid-back vibe create the perfect atmosphere for a cozy Mediterranean lunch.

We ordered a cold mezze platter that came with a vibrant spread. Creamy hummus, stuffed grape leaves, smoky eggplant, bulgur salad, and a refreshing yogurt-based tzatziki. Every bite felt fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The textures were balanced, and the flavors were spot on.

For the main, we had the lamb stew served in a clay dish. Tender meat simmered in a rich tomato and vegetable sauce. It was hearty, warm, and perfect for sharing.

The service was friendly, and everything came out at a great pace. This place is all about authentic flavors and a great dining experience without trying too hard.

Would I go back? Absolutely. Whether you’re into Turkish cuisine or just looking to try something new in Miami, El Turco hits the mark.
